The Office of the Prime Minister
Governmental Role:
_The Prime Minister serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Board of Ministers, Head of Government, and the Speaker of the Senate. S/he leads
the procedure of Senate, and may call for a second vote if a bill or
act is vetoed by the monarchs. S/he oversees the other ministers and
reports to the monarchs. S/he has the power to suspend a member from
the Board, but not expel. Should the monarchs not produce an heir before
their death, the Prime Minister is appointed Regent until the next
monarch is determined. The Prime Minister is appointed by the Archduke
and Archduchess and also removed by them at their leisure. Parliament may call for a vote
of no confidence to remove the Prime Minister.
